Thankful!!!

The February issue of True North has hit the stands and we are thrilled by our reader’s response! I want to thank everyone for the heartfelt words of support that have been sent our way. We want you to know that making sure that each issue of True North is filled with the information you want is our #1 priority. On that note, True North is ecstatic to sponsoring the 5th Annual Preschool and Child Care Fair this year. This fair presents an awesome opportunity for families to get some face to face time with local preschools, child cares, and business owners serving young children and their families. To find out more about the fair check out pg. 23 of the February issue or go to http://www.truenorthparenting.com/ and click on the Preschool and Child Care Fair’s logo.

At True North we are also excited to announce that we have completed our 1st full year of our print issue! Again, we must send a big “Thanks!” out to all those who have supported us. Each issue an amazing team of photographers, writers, and editors come together to create a magazine that truly reflects the heart of the Central Oregon parenting community. Many of these individuals donate their time and hard work in order to make our publication a success. Similarly we have been blessed by many local business owners who have put their faith in our publication and chosen to advertise with us, making the vision of True North a reality. We hope that you will take some time to check out our publication and get to know the individuals and businesses that keep True North on the stands. We feel grateful to have been embraced by our community!

Finally, on pg. 36 of this issue you will find a new opportunity for readership essay contributions. Birth Stories from the High Desert offers our readership the opportunity to send in and share their own personal birth experiences. This is a wonderful way for readers to feel more connected and supported and less alone in their birthing experiences. We are looking for a wide variety of stories and would love accompanying photos. To contribute please send your birth story to info@truenorthparenting.com with “Birth Story” in the subject line.
Once more, we send out a deep heartfelt “Thanks” to all of those who have made True North’s first year a huge success.

Sincerely,
Annette Benedetti
